The Iowa coaching staff had Spencer Williams and Cole Banwart on campus for their one day camp on June 7 and both left with scholarship offers. A couple of days later, both in-state prospects had accepted and committed to the Hawkeyes. Several months later, the Hawkeyes added the final piece to the puzzle on the offensive line as Alaric Jackson committed on National Signing Day.

In the 6-foot-3, 275-pound Williams, the Hawkeyes are getting an offensive lineman that played tackle in high school at Cedar Falls, but likely projects inside at center in college. Williams, who grew up a Hawkeye fan, chose Iowa over offers from Minnesota and Western Michigan, among others.

Banwart was more known for defense his junior year, but the 6-foot-4, 275-pounder worked out at offensive line at Iowa's camp and quickly impressed the coaching staff. He chose the Hawkeyes over offers from Northern Iowa and South Dakota State.

Jackson is a 6-foot-7, 285-pound prospect who grew up mostly playing basketball, but went out for football his junior year and quickly showed college potential. The three-star prospect ended up with offers from Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Illinois, and Kansas, among others, and ultimately picked the Hawkeyes on Signing Day.
