New 2018 Offer: QB Cade Fortin

The Iowa Hawkeyes made their first quarterback offer in the Class of 2018 on Tuesday. That went out to Cade Fortin, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound signal caller from Suwanee, GA, who received the news from lead recruiter LeVar Woods today.
"I talked to Coach Woods for about 30 minutes," said Fortin. "I felt so blessed and I was extremely excited to be offered by such a great school."
Iowa is the second school to offer Fortin, joining California on his list. The Class of 2018 prospect is also receiving early interest from Louisville, Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida State, among others.
As a sophomore at North Gwinnett High School, Fortin completed 130 of 255 pass attempts for 1,475 yards and 11 touchdowns.
